How much are the admission fees for Sakura Sunday?
Adults are expected to pay a $5 minimum donation to help cover the numerous costs of putting on a Festival of this scale. Children 14 years of age and younger are permitted to enter free.
How / When / Where do I take the shuttle bus from Center City to Sakura Sunday?
From
10:00 AM until 2:30 PM, yellow shuttle buses will be departing for the Horticulture Center
from Broad & Sansom (in front of the Union League) roughly
every 15 to 20 minutes*. Riders are required to pay
$10 before getting on the bus, at which time they are given a wristband that grants
entry to Sakura Sunday and a
free return bus trip to Center City at the end of the Festival. Payment must be made in
cash, exact change only. Children 14 and under ride for free.
Return trip buses will be running throughout the day, with the last bus to Center City departing the Horticulture Center at 4:30 PM.
*Due to road conditions and traffic, bus arrival and departure timings are subject to flucuation. We ask that you please be patient while waiting for buses.
May I bring my pet to Sakura Sunday?
Yes, Sakura Sunday is pet friendly. Please keep your pet on a lead at all times.
May I bring food and drink to Sakura Sunday?
While there will be food and drink vendors on site, visitors are also encouraged to bring their own food and drink items. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted in the Horticulture Center.

Parking Information
Vehicles are not permitted to park at the Horticulture Center. $10 per vehicle remote parking with complimentary shuttle service along South George’s Hill, Avenue of the Republic, and States Drive.
Limited handicapped parking is available at the Horticulture Center. Only cars with handicapped tags will be admitted. Additionally, participants may be dropped off at the gates to limit their need to walk.

When will the cherry blossom trees be in bloom?
Blossoming time varies from year to year depending on changes in the climate, but expect to see brilliant pink blossoms towards the end of March and the lighter, larger varieties up through mid-April.
